do employees contact EAS?
Employees
call a local and confidential phone number to speak to a professionally
licensed counselor. Services can be provided in English
and Spanish.
What
are EAS's fees for employees?
EAS
in an employer-sponsored benefit, at no cost to the employee.
Is
EAS confidential?
EAS counselors
are bound by law to maintain the full privacy of anyone who
calls.
Can
a supervisor refer an employee to EAS?
A supervisor
may make a referral to EAS. The initial call is often
made by the supervisor with the full knowledge of the employee. Once
the employee contacts the EAS counselor, certain information
may be shared with appropriate releases.
Who can use
EAS?
EAS is available
to all employees of the company and any members of their immediate
family.
